What is your mission?
Becoming more religious has changed me. I’m not saying that letting Jesus in my life has given me divine meaning. What I am saying is that my God given purpose is not the same as my mission.
I’m still young in the grand scheme of things but yet many people have told me numerous times that I’m, “wise beyond my years.” It tends to lend well against my ever growing philosophical debacle. One area that’s changed rather recently has been religion.
See I always thought that your purpose in life was to live. That’s it. Then I discovered meaning in creating a legacy. Whether that was having kids or leaving your mark, it was one in the same.
My purpose in life came to me when I was in college. The phone call with the admissions secretary to the Education program was the key plot point. After becoming a teacher I discovered my purpose was to educate and protect children. All my life I had noticed an affiliation towards babies and generally kids as a whole.
Now how does my mission differ? Well I consider my purpose to be my goal and my mission is how I get there. My mission is revolutionize education for the next generation. To take the school system and re-engineer by pioneering proper learning methodology. Pedagogy becomes the forefront of our survival and evolution.
So I will accomplish my mission by starting a private school to become the new standard for education across the world. But God has told me that I’m not ready yet. I have lessons in life to learn so that opportunity isn’t wasted when it presents itself.
I can’t wait for that day. It will truly be one for the history books.
